Nerd for life yo
I realized last night, while naming my new computer that my electronic devices all have fantastic shipping possibilities. You see my old laptop was Daniel Jackson. He played well with my backup drive Jack O’Neill. However, Daniel has since been retired and while Jack and Nikola Tesla (the new Lenovo Yoga) seem to get along Jack is a bit jealous of Nikola’s coils 1 & 2 (cloud drives). And The Doctor is always left a bit out. After two regenerations—the kind of sexy Samsung, to the dead sexy HTC, and now to the meh iPhone—he uses Nikola for the occasional hook up. Most often though The Doctor is with The Tardis (iPad) for they are rarely seen without each other.
Nerd for life yo.

I cry every time I see this episode. This clip. Words fail.
Excerpt from the episode “Vincent and the Doctor” (S05E10) – Doctor Who.
The Doctor: In a hundred words, where do you think van Gogh rates in the history of art?
Dr. Black: Big question, but… to me, van Gogh is the finest painter of them all; certainly the most popular great painter of all time; the most beloved; his command of colour the most magnificent. He transformed the pain of his tormented life into ecstatic beauty. Pain is easy to portray, but to use your passion and pain to portray the ecstasy and joy and magnificence of our world… no one had ever done it before… Perhaps no one ever will again. To my mind that strange wild man who roamed the fields of Provence was not only the world’s greatest artist, but also one of the greatest men who ever lived.
Tears. Every time. And then we saw Starry Night this weekend and it’s just breathtaking in person. The texture. Oh, the texture.
